2011 Already?
So here are some boating predictions that will surely (sic) come true!
1. More "baby boomers" than ever will aquire boats, new & used. In fact we in the business must pay even more attention to this age group. They have $ and intend to use it!
2. The "inventory" of new vessels is low, it will get lower. Profits will increase volume will decrease.
3. Because of #2, used boats will hold value. Especially; quality, late model, well maintained boats.
4. Fuel; there will be fuel, it will cost money, and it will still be a small portion of the cost of boating. Planning your cruises, trips and fun will maximize your fuel dollars allowing plenty of time on the water.
Remember some of the most fun on the water is at anchor, music playing, and kids "swimming off the anchored boat"!
5. Huge prediction; the sun will set and be even more beautiful than ever, so practice your o-o-o-o's & ahhhhh-s!
6. And our last prediction; those of you who jump into boating will have a 2011 full of memories like no others!
